The Social/Political Action Ministry shall provide information to church members and the community on social and political issues.  This ministry serves as an advocate for economic opportunity, social and environmental concerns. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To identify social and political needs and work with resource groups and organizations in helping to meet those needs.
  • To make available to and supply voters with necessary information about political candidates and their platforms.
  • To assist voters by holding voter registrations and provide transportation to the polls.
  • To locate providers to meet the social/political needs of church members and the community, with a special focus on addressing the needs of the elderly.

Membership

With the exception of officers, church membership is not required.
