Message From Our Pastor
April 3, 2020
Dear Round Top Church Family and Friends (RTBC),
Happy April! Happy Birthday to all the April Babies! Happy Anniversary to those couples celebrating this month! Regardless of our current circumstances, let’s all be happy in the Lord; for this is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.
We, myself and the supporting leadership of RTBC, are seriously concerned about the physical health and well-being of each and every one of you; therefore, we will continue to live stream our Services via Facebook Live and YouTube.com until further notice. It’s been three weeks that we have not been able to be physically present to worship together, but we are thankful to our Lord that we have platforms available to us which allow us to still worship and be in touch.
In the interest of our Spiritual Health, I urge each of you to continue practicing SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE by reading and studying your Bible, continuously praying (for ourselves, each other, our leaders, and the entire world), meditating on the word of God, practicing and demonstrating the Christian Principles that God has provided to us all as baptized believers, and by remembering your obligation as members of the Body of Christ. Therefore, we invite you all to; tune into Facebook Live this Sunday Morning at 9 AM for our Worship Service; view the service at your leisure here on YouTube; make your weekly contributions here via Tithe.ly, by mail to 120 Round Top Court Blythewood, SC 29016, or drop off at the church either Monday or Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM. In consideration of those who do not have internet capabilities/abilities, we will be recording DVDs, which can be obtained by contacting the Church Office. We want to ensure that all are able to be a part of our continuing worship. If you have missed any of our past services, you are still able to view the services on our YouTube channel or DVD.
I strongly encourage everyone to, first and foremost, continue to pray, stay at home unless it is essentially necessary for you to leave, respect the requests of our governing authorities even if we disagree, continuously practice healthy hygiene and social distancing habits, practice patience, and stay positive. Let us be encouraging to one another, and continue to pray for our bereaved families, and especially for our seniors of the church.
Continue to be faithful! Although this is a challenging time, be encouraged as we continue to praise the Lord. God will see us through this pandemic. We will come through this with a stronger Faith. We know that God is still working on our behalf and He will continue to keep us in His care.
Remember, I am here to support, serve, and do my best to comfort you. My message for this week will be coming from Psalm 101: 1-8. Be focused and make wise decisions. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16, (NIV).
I am looking forward to seeing you back at church when we re-open, as I do miss seeing and having personal interaction with each of you.
In His Service,
Pastor Fleming O. McClinton
