Sunday, November 5th @ 2:30pm: The RTBC Men’s Choir will be traveling to Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 667 Highway 21 South, Ridgeway, for their Musical Choir’s 52nd Anniversary.
Wednesday, November 8th @ 10:00-2:00pm: SC WORKS Midlands is hosting a Job Fair at Dutch Square Mall, 421 Bush River Road, Columbia. It’s free and open to all. Dress to impress and take your Resume. For more information, please visit their website at www.midlandsworks.org.
Friday, November 10th @ 6:30pm: The Hope Optimist Club of Blythewood will have their Annual Veterans Program at Lizard’s Thicket, 711-1 University Village Drive, Blythewood to honor Veterans in the community; followed by a Memorial Service to honor all deceased Veterans. Information can be found on the bulletin board over by the water fountains.
Saturday, November 18th @ 9:00am: Deacon Johnnie Waller is asking all persons interested in helping with our Adopt-A-Highway Trash Pick-up to meet him at RTBC.
Sunday, November 19th @ 2:00pm: The RTBC Jubilee Choir will be traveling to Bethel Baptist Church, 275 McNulty Road, Blythewood, for their Jubilee Choir’s 100th Anniversary. Melvin Alston serves as Pastor.
Sunday, November 26th @ Evening: The RTBC YOUTH CHOIR will be performing at the Town of Blythewood’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The exact time will be provided at a later date.
RTBC WOMEN’S MINISTRY – The RTBC Women’s Ministry has embarked on a project to recognize the U.S. Military Veterans from RTBC. Please let any member of the RTBC Women’s Ministry know if you are currently serving, have served, or retired from the U.S. Military.
WIS-TV SALUTES – WIS-TV, Channel 10, has been honoring the brave men and women who have served this country with Military Salutes airing each Wednesday at 5:00am and 5:00pm. RTBC has several members being honored with Salutes. To view those who have already been recognized, then click here to view it on their website.
The RTBC New Members classes are being held on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th Sundays of each month at 9:00am. If you have recently joined RTBC or never completed your New Members classes, please see Deacon Sylvester Knox or Deacon James Glymph.
RTBC Clothing Bank is open on Tuesdays from 9:00am – 12:00pm and 5:30pm – 7:00pm. If you have clothing or household items that are in like-new or used condition that you no longer want or need, please donate them to the RTBC community. You may place them in the drop-box in front on the right side of the Center.
